Any of the council candidates will be a refreshing change from what we've had from Vaugh, Sholette and Useles... I mean, Powers.

What we need is a new mayor. I'm counting on you, Ogdensburg.

we voted for McGrath , McCoy, Hosmer and Stevenson -- hopefully Ogdensburg can NOW turn the corner on failed leadership and regain some respect and make progress toward making this community a better place for ALL us us taxpayers NOT just the political insiders and special interests.

Expand our tax bases , stop drug related crime , curtail the dumping of Level ii and II sex offenders in OUR town and make neighborhoods and streets safe again

Thank you, everyone that voted for your support. I am glad to have had the chance to run for city council in Ogdensburg. It was a great experience and I am sure that I will give it another try in the years to come. I being a newcomer in all aspects of this race, am very happy to see the votes that I received. This was the first time I had ever run for political office of any kind, and now that it is over with I can say that if anything it sure was a great learning experience. Most people will never run for office, so its hard to understand all the hard work and dedication that all the candidates have put into their respective campaigns. Everyone worked hard, and really put forth a good clean effort and was very happy that even though this was a very heated race in terms of what was at stake, and how much it meant to the citizens of this city, everyone managed to keep a positive attitude and run clean campaigns with no one candidate bashing another with needless slander. Thank you to all who ran, Wayne Ashley, Bill Hosmer, Jamie Amo, Jen Stevenson, Jim McCoy, Bill Nelson, and Jack McGrath. You all deserve some recognition for putting yourself out there to try and better your community. Congratulations to the winners of these elections, it was no small task. Now with the election behind you, and 4 years ahead of you, I hope you can all sit down to the table and get some work done that will really benefit the citizens of Ogdensburg, and I hope with all that you learned over the past few moths that you really took the time to listen to the people and understand what they want and expect from you. No empty promises, and open government. Honesty and integrity is all I ask from my elected officials. Thank you.

Congrats to ALL the NEW candidates , you either raised or responded to the serious issues that face this city .

IF the newly elected have ANY sense of what is RIGHT , change will occur and the long-standing problems of shrinking tax base, public safety , drugs, neighborhood deterioration and lack of private sector employment WILL be SOLVED .

The time for promises and grandstanding and PR puffery is OVER -- IT IS NOW TIME TO DELIVER !!!
