Thank you, Veterans for your sacrifice. Whether Regular or Reserve, combat or non-combat, you have helped keep our way of life existing for our children and grandchildren. I salute you.
I enlisted in the US Marines Corps on July 15, 1963 and served for over three years. All of my service was state side duty. The last couple months, in the USMC, I was assigned as Marine Escort burial detail. I saw the effects of war and death on numerous families of fallen Marines. So now I would like to give a salute to all Veterans past and present. Thank you for your excellent service to our country. May God bless you all and keep you out of harms way.

Very nice ceremony at the park, the speeches were good. The Mayor was a little long winded and disorganized. It was a good showing!
