Journal:Ogdensburg Company Deal Depends On Federal Contract

General Proplusion Inc.
Is this the real deal? Will Ogdensburg become the home of General Propulsion Inc. which could lead to 200 new jobs. This is a continuation of the job trend across the United States. Canada has been producing more jobs for Americans than the United States.

Times are tough, the economy has been spiraling down and the Federal Government is spending less money. Military contracts are at a premium and securing such a contract is necessary for General Propulsion Inc. to open its corporate headquarters here.

Many blogger are chary of the company and Mr. McCoy has done some research. Hopefully our leaders or our next leaders will do their homework. According to Ottawa Business Journal General Propulsion Inc. only employs 5, but employed 22 at its peak. Just goes to show you, "Inc." does not mean big.

McCoy lied about the company or didn't do his research before spouting his opinion.

Info is accurate. Company held contracts during Gulf War. Bankrupt in 1990s. Dissolved briefly in 2000s. Not direct contractor in any canada DND reports. No patents or trademarks except for logos. As OBJ found all the information is on the internet. It is easy to search Canadian internet for patents and trade marks and trade names and incorporation history.

Mr. Hensler is very smart and very capable. his ideas could be big. But years away,, it was not responsible for Mr. Scorra to say 200 jobs were coming especially since he didn't tell OBPA or council or any other groups who might be able to help Mr. Hensler.

Mr. McCoy at least notified the city , more than Scorria did ! Why didn't Skamperele and the his party running mates post anything . They all knew about it 3 weeks ago ? You use the word lie to Mr. MCoy - if he lie what would you say Scorria Did? Some one Does Not like Mr. McCoy doing his homework - BUT I want to give Him a A+. Jim shifts his BRAIN in GEAR before HIS MOUTH!

As far as I am concerned Jim McCoy is not a problem here! For sure he's becoming a soultion. To say he is lieing is not right - he is closing the voting gap. I'd rather hear from him than a heckler!!

Thanks again Mr. McCoy for checking into General Proplusion Inc. I also looked at their own website and they are selling a PIE IN THE SKY product. You are right on point with your assessment of this company. Whoever said you lied is complete idiot or a jealous city council candidate. You will receive our votes on 11/8/2011.

Ever wonder how much Matt C new about knox st before applying for the job with the city.. He may have known and thus also had a strangle hold on Nelson and Sciorrs nuts also..
We probably will never know.. One thing I do know is the property at Adams avenue is being lied about..
Its owner moved back to the Harrisville area and left furniture etc that neighbors, city workers, and someother unauthorized people took. It was also lived in for some time and nothing was done....

I hear and whitnessed Counclors Morley - Cielly - Powers and Sholette ASK ART SCORRIA several times (each) for a complete list of Housing that the city owned and what they were going to do with the property. AT open council meetings. They never got answers from Art . Art just looked down grunted and took notes- they would of had to force him to do it - and that should have been done!!! Mr . CEO answered to no one!

meanwhile he blamed the man who advised him all along the city needed a policy...Mister Cosmo.

The biggest companies start with a single idea. If Ogdensburg doesn't support entrepreneurs, another city will get the jobs.

What jobs ??? You mean the ones WE PAY FOR with our TAX SUPPORTED federal grants ?
