Journal:How One House Led To Big Problems

No News Is Good News
How many times is the Journal going to beat the Knox Street issue in the head. Nothing new has developed and we are going to rehash a story everyone in the City is aware of. Must be the only thing to report on. This needs to take its course and we need to move on!

Journal Rehashes Knox Street

The Journal Like most print media is dying a gasping death - serving mostly Luddites or the Great generation and to a limited extent the Boomers

Listen the sound of extinction is at hand on Isabella St much like the fate of the dinosaur.

The Blogosphere and streaming media trumps anything in the Journal . I'll give it a couple of years .

With the Gen x'ers hitting middle age now the end is near . They along with the Millenials do NOT read newspapers.

This new crew at the Journal will not make it to Easter. Since they have already crucified Sciorra, they will have nothing to report on this winter. Chuck would have kept Sciorra on life support for a while, whispered in the ears of the city councilors who reported directly to him, and brought him back to life. The Journal only goes after outsiders so as to not alien it's local readership. This time both of the outsiders (Woods and Sciorra)have been elininated. Who is the Journal going to go after now? The Wades? The Morleys? The Nelsons? The Lausens? Nope. Because the folks at the Journal know if they do, these folks and ALL of their friends and relatives will cancel their subscriptions. That is something Chuck learned early on. So, if you see Liz Lyons hanging around the geezers at Phillips or McDonalds looking for stories, you will know the end is near.

Yeah...The employees at the journal had better start to practice saying "you want fries with that?"

Not only the journal is keeping this thing alive but the author of this blog is also exploiting it.
Lets here his/her opinion of the wades honesty in this matter.
We know Nelson is as dishonest as they come. We know Morley is a moron and follower.
What do you feel? Were the Wades using their influence in the community to get special treatment?
Was Sciorra doing his job in not giving in to them?
I can understand Art stating to the Journal that he didnt know about the Knox St property, but Is he really the liar hes made out to be..
Did Art do an excellent job for six years then just fell apart??
Was Woods playing God as implied??
Did Nelson do all of this to win the election???
COMMENTS PLEASE

Art was under extreme pressure from Nelson. He told him from day one that he had 4 votes in his pocket and to remember that. This will wll come out in court. Nelson is quiet because he hears the timebomb ticking, his political career is over. Yesterday I was told that there was a group getting together to have Nelson impeached, we will see. I personally think this is a Journal blog. They throw curves like this thread to stay on the sidelines and possibly get some news. Art did an excellent job, he does have a personality issue but he knows what he is doing and would have been much more effective if he had been left alone to do his job. Nelson has one of his 1st cousins in the Police Department, Fire Department, DPW, and on the Growth Fund that he illegally chairs. Oh yeah, their last names are McCarthy. I am sure they have fun in the regular meetings with Nelson making Art's life a living hell. Maybe Neslon should go to North Korea and take an update course on being a dictator. You folks are after the wrong guy, it's Nelson.

Nelson had Vaugh and Powers with him on every vote . This year he will undoubtly have a five to two edge possibly six to one..
Skamperele and Vaugh grew a set the last few weeks because they looked into both sides of these allegations. Powers, Cilley Nelson and MOrley did what they set out to do.. Ashley did what he was told to do..
Ashley was put here for one reason only by Bean.. To get Polinak period. McCarthy Nelsons cousin wants to be chief so Ashly will lead the charge.
Getting back to Art Sciorra, did the job and got supported fully by council and Nelson for all but six months of his tenure.
He was approached by the Wades about moving some grant money to them and Art said no and they along with Nelson and MOrley piled on.. The fact Sciorra refused to give in to the Wades will come out during the open session and in court.. None of that should have labeled him a liar..
Cosmo run to the mayor and informed Morley about the Knox st property but disobeyed orders by Sciorra to end the rucus.
Woods was being fired but Nelson wanted Art tohold off until after the politcal process on petitions had run its course.
And now the other player.. Kathy Bouchard is the one who leaked the report to the journal but the bottom line thereis that Nelson wanted it leaked. Of course he wont recall it that way..
He wanted it leaked to slow this process down and keep it alive and well during the election process.
The journal is the biggest player in this as to their printing of half of the truth completely ignoring and refusing to look at any evidence or at least print any evidence on Sciorras behalf..
The shoddy contractors led by Steve Rose turned their votes to Nelson fearing that McGrath might look at the entire evidence package and understand what really happened.
Of course we the taxpayers pay.. Morelys statement that we hadnt used up what was alloted for legal this year anyways was ignorant. If its there we must use it heh...

Gezz...If the city has to pay even $1 for every word Nelson and Morley said publicly to defame Sciorra.......Let's see that could be $1,000,000 + legal fees of another $400,000...Where is Cosmo going to come up with the $$$ to send Nelson all over the country as Pres. of NYSCOM???...Plus Morley will have to have A LOT of training to be acting Mayor....How about another $20,000 in travel for him??....While we are at it, we'll have to train Cosmo too...are we at $2,000,000 yet??

Without the Journal, whose reporting will your blog steal from to get hits?

By my count there is still a public hearing to be scheduled at which the city manager and the council will have to state their cases. Then there are the potential lawsuits swirling around the whole situation, and we still haven't figured out whether the Burkes/Seguins will get the house or not. This thing is a long way from over, and it was nice to get a play-by-play of how it all went down.

I don't think Chris Robbins will be sticking around Ogdensburg for long, he is too big for a burnt-out town like this. He would do great at the New York Times or the Chicago Tribune.

He would do better for Fox News. They are told who to endorse and who to run down and who to praise .

You guys are hysterical.. I've sat in the journal's newsroom and listened to that fat freak Robbins and the numb cootch Liz Graham shout back and forth.. They are both piss in their pants liberals of the worst kind.. They are more likely to take their marching orders from skamperele and jumbo dyke stevenson than from photo-op bill nelson and mushmouth morley..
