Big Day January 4th - State of the State Address

State of the State Address
Those that wanted to attend the State of the State Address could have registered on-line for tickets through the Governor's Office.  This should be an interesting year, with a smaller deficit, with mandate relief hanging in the scales, with the unions crippled, the challenge of redistricting, and to top it all off It Is Another Election Year. Should be a bloggers dream come next spring.

Happy New Year.

Hey!!!..Maybe the Pres. Elect Nelson of NYSCOM will be there...I'm SURE the Gov. will want to be seen with him after the mess he has created in the Burg...If you watch it on C-SPAN look for Pres. Elect Bill sitting as far away from the Gov. as they can get him....Probably somewhere behind the indian chiefs..

Will Nelson take his mother, girlfriends, ex-wife and her 18 yo boyfriend along? Well, there will be lots of room for them outside in the bleachers. But our taxpayer money will be safe with Morley and Cosmo in charge, and The Journal as the watch dog over them. Mike Powers is right. With Nick gone the city council can follow the leadership of Nelson, Morley and Cosmo, and work together to really screw us over. It will be SO MUCH better!!

Mike!!! Glad to hear from you again. We have missed you. Saw you at the Cathedral at Christmas time. Praying to Jesus to help you out of the mess you created? I gotta tell you, he probably is not going to help you with the humilation and crucifixtion of Art Sciorra. Too many bad memories for him there. How about trying the Prince of Darkness?. BTW: It's "you're" not "your". Try spell check next time.

Read Morley's comment in the paper. Most everyone else is looking to get the city back on track, but not Morley. His quote saying the city wouldn't have this problem if everyone on the council had worked together. In other words, if Vaugh and Skamperle hadn't stood up to try to stop the illegal firing of Sciorra, every thing would be OK. Now he is trying to blame the mess he and Nelson created on Vaugh and Skamperle?? If that's your case Mike, you are going to get laughed out of town ,and rightfully so.

So, uh, looks like Obama is downsizing the military. I guess that kind of spoils Sciorra/Nelson's plans for Ogdensburg to be a mecca for defense contractors, eh?

The real sad thing is now that the military is coming home, they will be flooding Fort Drum with housing and they are already full. Is it within the means of our city leaders to try to tap into this opportunity. One hour to work is nothing. But no we will continue to fill out reports and tell our citizens that we are doing just fine. When you continue driving using your rear view mirror, eventually you crash.
