Capital TonightCuomo Wants To Extend Unemployment Benefits

If Governor Spitzer decides to layoff state workers it looks like they will have time to look for another job or wait to be called back to work from the "Preferred List".  The Governor is submitting a legislation that would extend unemployment benefits. This bill would shift the burden from New York State to the Federal Government.  It looks like we will be paying this with our tax money...State or Federal money, it still comes out of our pockets.

Right or wrong the opinon varies. I feel games are being played at our expense by all levels of government. The County just announced today they did not spend as much as anticipated on health insurance. Wonder where they will spend it now that they got their ten percent contribution.. Its not supposed to be spent only on making the insurance cheaper for the county employees. Found all sort of new money didnt they when the big union signed. Mark my word all you good CSEA workers in CAnton this board will impose next years contract but still raise you insurance..
Also a comment on City Council meeting last night.. Cameras will be put near the water supply and probably the port authority and randomly where the ocps want to spy.. Hope it is on law breakers not just who they think the lawbreakers are.. Michael powers statemtn hats off to the front line and the police dept was really a joke wasnt it... The last four murders with no convictions for murder and thats worth a hats off>> Michael get a new life will y Oh thats it is it .. OCF will be shit down and you want to be home. Possibly the Chief will get you hired.

The last time I knew, Spitzer had decided to take his manly pleasures and is no longer Governor. Did something happen that I don't know about ?
