Rain Rain go Away!

Back in the Burg, and boy is it raining, but it is always nice to be home. It rained most of the trip from Florida but not much traffic.

Not much in the news except Osama bin Laden's death.  Thank the Navy Seals for a job well done.

Eventually the rain will go away but the problems Ogdensburg faces seem never to..
I am commenting about the obvious lack of communications from City Hall about the possibility of a major employer even being remotely interested in Ogdensburg.
Our mayor uses some lame excuse about not being in the loop but he wasnt offended. The council as a whole isnt in the loop. I personally dont blame Nelson I blame Cireora and Woods for not being on the ball. These are the people that council charges with the keys to the cityand its growth. Obviously they arnt doing their job... My blame with council is for not enforcing who is in charge of this city. These people are accountable to council not theother way around as its been. Council answers to us as they will in November this year.
Wathcing and attending meetings for over three years now I notice Vaugh, Powers, Nelson use the term Micro managing to cover up for Cieroa mistakes and anti people personality.. Why?
We as taxpayers and this year voters arnt going to forget how inept this council and these people have been in serving us..
Council council go away and come back with another group in the fall.. God bless Ogdensburg

The fact that Mr Nelson was out of the loop as was the entire economic development 'team" in Ogdensburg speaks LEGIONS about their lack of leadership and credibility.

There is absolutely NO excuse that when this firm started sniffing around Massena SOMEONE on the so called team should have been wise enough to INITIATE contact and follow thru .

Yet ANOTHER reason we need change in city hall

Ritchies office was also ignorant of the issue while Russells people had limited knowledge. To this day and minute Sciora has not contacted anyone about the issue. The truth is they dont want anything here that may interfere with their boating venture for the Waterfront.
Most of the legwork for this issue has been done by Sam Lamachia so I,m told. Remember Sam, He was almost mayor last election.. Fred Carter put Sam in touch with Shumar and the ball started rolling.. This is what we need.. INDUStry not Prisons and the scum that follow. Ritchies office is off in left field trying to promote closing Sing Sing closure and moving the likes of that North for her head count..They are trying to better their communtiy by ridding themselves of eyesores while our fools are trying to promote them. Promote the riverfront and let the city decay....

Sing SING IN THIS CITY WOULD BE ADMITTING UTTER DEFEAT. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST IDEA TO COME UP IN A LOOOOOONG HISTORY OF VERY BAD MOVES BY THE CITY ,WHICH HAVE RESULTED IN BOTH NEIGHBORHOOD DETERIORATION , INCREASED CRIME AnD DRUGS .

NO MORE PRISONS PERIOD - Ogdensburg has been ruined by what the prisons brought to town--- ENOUGH !!

Private sector employment is exactly what is needed
