WDT:Putman says district administrators deserve raises

                              Does It Ever End?
I guess it is not just the Ogdensburg School District that think they should have raises.  In spite of 13 billion dollar shortage in the State's budget, cuts to school budgets, and teachers getting laid off...we still deserve a raises at St. Lawrence Central.  They are paying $700.00 for their health insurance, that is about $27.00 every two weeks.

Raises must make teachers and administrators work harder for the kids, what was I thinking raise my taxes again.

totally out of touch with reality and yet another reason for consolidations and mandated tax caps . School districts have illustrated time and again that they are not capable of fiscal realism and act like "noblesse oblige " to what is going on around them in real life .

Time for teeth at the state level to override the unwillingness of local boards to bring about MEANINGFUL fiscal restraint and tax cuts
