Mr. Manning apparently did his job. There is a doubt.. That means at the least a hung jury...Reason.. Not justice but incompetance by the Law Enforcement officals...

Yah right.. Dont blame the pervs balme our Judge Richards.. The one who thinks hes the second coming of Jesus Christ. He made the rules as the went along in the first trial. Thats come back fo haunt us. This is the same judge that put all of his personal opinion restrictions on our second ammendmend rights in SLC. Ms. Duve is very weak as a DA and some of the cops lied because they wanted quick closure to a otherwise good case against a murderer.. Much lke the OJ simpson case. If the cops hadnt lied for really no reason he would have been found guilty.
The Bottom line is the cops here have lied for years in this type of high profile case. They have gotten away with it.. This lays at the feet of our mayor manager and coucilors for allowing this type of thing to go on for all these years... I wont go into other details but think back on the last few murder trials and think about who lied and who ===== up and its documented...
The paper just indicated this AM that the jury is hung.. By what count I dont know..
This accused killer will go free soon and we will always wonder who really did it.
The criminal system in this County sucks thus this is why the crack dealers and users flourish. The city council does nothing but spin and try and put blame elsewhere whenever it can but it all lies with them. They hire a manager, who hires a police chief who directs the force. This type of thing is unfortunate but it points out what I just said. Neighborhood watches will never correct this. Someone has suggested citizens patrols. Lets look at it.. We seem to have an overabundance of corrections officers in the two facilities. Cant we drum up about ten of them for volunteer service to the city. They are sworn Peace Officers who can enforce minor laws on crimes in their presence.. Lets try itr out folks call your councilmen. Lets get Sheriff Wells and exSheriff Jarvis envolved for their opinions. Lets hear the pros and cons of such a program.. Lets think outside the box our council cant.
St. Lawrence County had no idea who the murderer was the first trial and they do not no this trial. This is directly linked to incompetents, and a possible connection with the police department. They have perjured themselves, and for what reason.
This case was to be Mr. Miles re-election bid. Big Acting DA using this murder to get elected. That did not work, and Duve slide in.
No court experience and she and the newly elected judge muffed the trial. We are paying twice for a trial that did not convict the murderer of Mr. Tricky.
