Journal:Wayne Oxley's Defense Rests

The end is near, the defense rests...Mr. Manning, attorney for Oxley called his last witness today.  There will be a few rebuttal witnesses and it will be up to the jury.  What will this trial cost St. Lawrence County the second time around?
Hopefully, the evidence was sufficient to determine if Mr. Oxley took part in the murder or was framed.  If there was enough evidence the jury should come to a decision soon.  Everyone is holding their breath and Mr. Oxley's life is hanging with the jury.

I can not wait until this is over. This is just another black eye for st lawrence county. I do not think Mr. Oxley committed the crime but we need to move on.

I would be glad when its over but its never over here. The murder happened, Rush to judgment back then by Gary Niles politcally trying to get elected.. No real investigation.. Now it appears that Ogdensburg PD has done the incompetant thing again.. Mr Morleys testimony about a black man changings my decision on who did it.. Why cant the PD get it right. This goes back to the Chief then straight to City Hall. No disipline in the PD.. Lots of incompetance.
Of course a judge who still thought he was the DA aided the mistrial. Remember Mr Howe being arrested after an anomonous call tipped off the Canton PD.. Das office made the call(Dan Manor) to make Howe look bad in front of the Jury.. Whys not been anything done about this..

Theres been at least three cops plus the DAs office committing perjury in this case. I believe Oxley did it however in my opinion it hasnt been proven.
Ogdensburg has always been tainted by bad cops that fu-- up during murder trials. Back in the early 1980s a couple of residents of the psyc center killed a woman. A lt. later admitted he improperly read on of them his rights which freed the man while the other went to prison.. In the 90s a young man alledgedly started a fire killing some children. A then Sgt lied while doing the investigation tainting that rial.. The entire problem with this force was and still is disipline. They do not respect who they work for now or then.

I am sick and tired of the status quo in this city. IT is the way we did it, even if it is wrong and continue to do it wrong.

Our police force is much larger than any with a city the size of Ogdensburg. The drug dope heads are running wild and the cops are no where to be found.

Oxley is NOT guilty!

Did they find bullets casing at the scene of the crime. The cops involvement seem close to shaky when it comes to this murder.
