Groulx Park, Ogdensburg |
We look at Veterans day as a reflection of the heroism, bravery, and gratitude to those men and women that provided us with the freedoms and opportunities that we are afforded in our great country. It is time to reflect and honor those individuals that fought and died for our freedom.
WWII War Memorial, DC |
While in Washington DC, during a WWII veterans service I noticed a tee-shirt on a vet. It said "Thank a Teacher You Can Read This, Thank a Vet That You Can Read This In English. Take time out of your day and thank a veteran or attend the ceremony at Groulx Park November 11, at 11 am.

The boy scouts and cub scouts are marching to Groulx park to honor our veterans. They will be leaving Lincoln School at 10:30 a.m., in uniform for the 11:00 a.m. memorial service.
Scouts is a great organization that still allows "god" in their pledge. It instills patriotism, respect for others, our country and our environment.
Much of today's youth have lost these qualities and I take my hat off to the Boy Scouts of America for standing strong.
Nice picture of the WWII monument in D.C. If anyone gets a chance it is a very impressive. That is a shitty picture of Groulx park.
I drove by that park sooooo many times and never knew it had a name.
Thank you to all veteran's . We owe you all a debt of gratitude
It was a very nice ceremony and many people attended. The students from SMDA presented cards to the veterans, the boy scouts made a chain of stars, and there were various singers that did a great job. Mr. Flynn did a great job orchestrating the event and there were many good speeches by various dignitaries.
Very good turn out for this event.
