Now, Let's see. Our county leaders said they would use the sales tax increase to get the county's financial situation in order AND reduce property taxes.

If our county leaders can do the two above things (as promised), then it will be very interesting to watch how Patty Ritchie will try to take credit for it, even though she blocked the legislation for the last three years.

2:35 - I was just wondering whatever happened to Matt Doheny. He has not done a thing for the community since losing. Sure, he needs to get back to the real world and get a real job, but even people with real jobs in the real world still have time to volunteer their time now and then for the greater good.

I am betting he is still shell shocked over his loss. It appears that all his life he has been able to buy his way into or out of whatever he wanted. This is probably one of the few times ever that that strategy didn't work. And now all he has left is the artificial shell of life he created in the last year a a half to try to make himself more electable. He's living in Watertown, supposedly, but I don't believe it. He has no real job. He is married and apparently even has a kid on the way to and with a woman whose only redeeming quality seems to be her ability to stand by her man no matter how much he humiliates her.

You would think with all that money he could have bought himself a far better life then the one he is left with now. I will be interested to see how much of that crafted campaign life he unwinds now that all of this is over. If he were smart he would go back to New York since he is not all that popular here. He would get divorced from that dud of a woman. And he would go back to making millions of dollars a year and trade up for a much better life. He should put all of this and all of us behind him as he clearly never really cared about the people in the district anyway.
