| Councilman Skamperle Learns a Hard Lesson |
I have known Dan for a long time and a DWI can and will happen to anyone that chooses to drive under the influence of alcohol. Public officials are held to a higher standard and many times it can impact on the voters and character confidence.
A DWI can run from $2K - $5K. I wonder what his BAC was at the time of the DWI?

Your correct.. I would not have given yesterdays blogger the chance to defame Skamp... Innocent until proven guilty... Just a couple of weeks ago a Dept of Social Servie employee was charged after driving his vehicle through a house in Dekalb. Not much can be said until the courts have their chance to determine their fate..
My feelings are simple.. If Mr Skamp is guilty he should resign his council post and the school system should disipline him harshly.. Even a plea bargain means guilt in this one.... The case of Mr Moore should be dealt with the same.. If he works for DOSS and deals with people daily he should be disiplined harshly... If this is a second time for either then they should be fired....
According to the Watertown Daily Times weekend reporter, the BAC was .13 - .05 over the legal limit.
I am very hard thinking on anyone driving and drinking.. I dont care who you are and where you are if you have had a couple of beers dont drive. Legal limits are bull shit invented by lawenforcement..Comman sense and integrity should dictate that you dont drive.. Even if your not legally drunk you certainly are now impaired somewhat.. One milasecond loss of thought or coordination could cost a life.. I also agree with a previous blogger, Skamp should relinquish his seat on the council and both people should face disipline from their employers.. After all we as taxpayers pay both their wages through our taxes bot school and county and we should be represented by credible people....
I also agree with the last two blogger's Mr. skamperle should resign his seat on the city council and someone should be appointed to the council that would represent the taxper's with integrity honesty and hard working just sayin...
The days of drinking and driving are over people. Yes. I to agree that Mr. Skamperle should resign his seat on the city council. There were several good people who ran in the tha last election and one should be appointed to the city council.

I HEARD TODAY THIS IS HIS SECOND DWI HE NEEDS TO RESIGN FROM THE COUNCIL AND THEY NEED TO APPOINT SOMEONE ELSE HE LACK'S INTEGRITY.
On television most Elected Officials set their beer down... when the camera gets rolling. Not Skamp... at Oscars when our Mayor Candiate was being interviewed !!!

Skamperle fucked my wife while I was stationed in Okinawa. i contacted him several times and the coward to this day has remained the pussy he is known to be. Never fuck with a Marine. I have him on tape bragging about sleeping with several married women. Not sure if anyone confronted this skumbag~however I will get an apology from this narcisist.Accountability is right around the corner danyboy!
