Nelson needs to bring this to a conclusion or we may have a new mayor! This will be a hot topic right up to November. I am totally disappointed, it appears Mr. Morley is giving up. Vaugh has seen and heard enough so it is time to move on. If we move on Art can continue not reading his emails from department heads, create secret agreements limiting the council's actions, and the Knox Street debacle will be one of many more blunders.

The electorate can change this scenario by voting in a new slate and demanding that change occur .
It is apparent that there is dis-satisfaction with what has been going on or not going on for several years .
This latest fiasco on Knox st is the last straw -- it has been one faux pas after another in City Hall .
Cost overruns on the Dobisky Center by forgetting to spec AC and other services in the original design which lead to additional costs , firing the engineer then having to incur additional expense for services on several items that could have been done in house .
The inability to solve the 27 % tax dilemma whereby 27% of the assessed valuation ( taxpayers) pay 100% of the tax load, failure to sufficiently expand the tax base and bring in additional revenue from economic development and permanent gainful private sector employment .
Increasing street crime and deteriorating neighborhoods , increasing water and sewer fees to play a shell game relative to the tax rate all are unresolved .
Increased drug traffic and deteriorating infrastructure are also issues .
You want more -- this list is just a start .
We should demand no less than a independant investigation.
All we are getting is BS from our council.. They are in the dark and Nelson wants to keep them there

We know wrongdong went on. We need to know to what extent. Was there criminal action that took place? Appears tobe the case.. Whos involved??? Is this confined to Woods and Scciorra taking kickbacks from prosepective homeowners? Is Nelson involved?? I know they were investigating shoddy work being done by that enity..

I have talked to several people and am yet to find someone that thinks Nelson isnt involved with a coverup.. Why? What really happened?? How much money was involved?? How much is missing???

This black mark on the council is ugly and shows why Nelson can lead these yahoos around by the nose. Councilman Powers is the most disapointing as I thought he possibly had independant thought. Cilley and VAugh are easily led. Skampelele is an idiot.. Morley and Shollette try but dont have the backing...

Woods and Scorria were always partners in crime !They have enough goods on each other to blow each other to kingdom-come!!!
Scorria is now sending Woods to the woodshed- He has the power with 4 Votes Nelson-Powers-Vaugn & Skamperele. This deal with Woods is a simple Payoff by Scorria -council knows all but will not dirty there hands. This buys woods silence! A job with more pay elseware and pay until he starts it. I think this is an illegal contract and it can not be inforced by law.
The only clean hand are Morleys and Shollete's who Question this bunch above .Storm has remained neutral .

This Chris Leo could tell us what we already know.. Funds are being mis-used and some probably missing. Sciorra and Woods have been using local yocal contractors for a kickback.. Work shoddy and dosnt get done... This goes withthe County version where they hiee certain firms who do very good work however way over priced.. A Madrid firm charges almost double what the jobs actually should cost. Actually get bids over lower bidders.. Thats fact and has been complained about as far back as when Wright was in Albany.. Ritchie has been contacted but dont hold your breath as long as the Republicans hold on to City Hall..
Back to the subject.. If this guy or his office can help lets alll do a written complait and ask for an investigation...
Moby Dick - Right on and correct . I have always hated the way Nelson in the past years with help from Vaugn and Powers has ruined the Republican Party in Ogdensburg. Bean has also helped! I want to give Ritchie one more chance to loose the smell of Nelson Politics! If enough calls and written complaints go to Chris Leo a investigation will exist. This Nelson Corruption Tree has to fall and its going to a lot of people to swing the ax!

Every one that calls this number in Albany will get a straight answer. Yes they misused the funds. Yes corruption probably exists and is being cleaned up quickly as this so called investigation is going on. We also need an auditor to go over our city accounts with scrutiny.. I know we are using and used mney from city coffers to fund Senator Ritchies office in City hall. In return she is endorcing Nelsn and using the local office for such purposes.. Thats not what our money is supposed to be used for.
Sciorra is dirty.. He is not a good manager. He has introdcued Nelsn to some sleasy ways to cut corners and silence people.. Nelson choose his way so now he has to live wih it....
Get rid of ALL incumbents( They are asleep at the switch) and fire the Manager -----------the ONLY way to GO Now . The ability to trust has been broken
Nelson has missed the boat for this city on numerous occassions. In reality he is a political poser that pretends to be mayor.
He has influenced this council to the extent its destroyed the city and its infrastructure in favor of the cosmetic greenbelt fixup..
We just had a glorious oppurtunity to coax a major industry here but he and Sciorra were out of the loop and uninformed. Our downtown as it was known and our housing are a disgrace and yet they ignore them. Why? The drugs and slumlords run rampart here.. Why? Our police are not qualified norcare to do anythingbut work retire with mega bonus and free medical .. Why?
A person comes here to buy some land and they go mega ga ga like they did something..
We have looked for results for three terms of Nelsons.... Take a drive around the City.. Count the closed businesses, mt houses run down houses, houses not up to code. Read the police reports daily and see the petty crime and drug charges.. All minor arrests.. What about the murders??? Will they be solved?? What about the big drug dealers like in th four hundred block of Ford Avenue..
What about the illegal sale of cigerettes all over... Just like Nelsons policies.. Try to ban smoking in the Greenelt but allow illegal sales of this substance to go on.

Tonight at the Council Meeting again you will See Vaugn and Skamperele's love for art scorria return. Its simple Nelson has to get rid of scorria to win the election ( nelson thinks) Nick and Dan to the rescue to Uncle Art . The award winning soap opera continues..................they are all scum VOTE THEM OUT!!!
I called the number listed previously for Albany. They listened briefly and explained I should make my concerns to them known in writing ASAP. Apparently they have recieved several phone calls and some written requests for investigation. They will not comment other than to tell you they are getting numerous complaints. Get your friends ivolved in this.. As soon as the Elections are over we can storm city hall and demand an independant investigation.. If Mr McGrath gets voted in we will request he and the new council act even while this one sits.
Does anyone know legally how we cnt these jokers out of office if they dont act for us.. Impeachment is for higher officals. Is it called recall andwhats the process??

Read in the paper this AM Regan upset about public safety, Ritchie upset about public safety but Rupp concerned that the money will go elsewhere in regards to DMV eye testing.. Coman guys.. Shes as transparent as Nelson and his crew. Ater listening to Atty Silver and mayor Nelson it becomes very apparent this will end as a coverup.
Without ranting just use this simple conclusion.. The City council has no conrol over personnl matters only the manager can hire and fire.. Atty Silvers is an employee of the city. The witnesses are employees of the city. What would you say to Mr Siver if asked questions concerning the guy that can fire you. What would you do if you were Atty silver when investigatiing theperson who can fire you.

Like it or not Justin Woods was only doing his job! He was following orders and directions from his supervisors or bosses. The problem is his bosses were Art Scorria and Bill Nelson . Justin" if you did what they told you to do you would keep your job" BUT "if you did what they wanted & told you to do and they got caught it is your fault!" A no win sitution for Woods. They are Cowards! Scorria wants to lead but he is anti-christ from hell to work with!
The other victim is the Ogdensburg Taxpayers that have to go through this investigation. We know the outcome! Your stealing more money.Our community is hurting !and were stuck with Nelson & Scorria!
Nelson has to give the appearance of being for us. Vaugh is not running and has takn the role of bad guy for Art and Bill. Dont forget that Vaugh wanted to be our mayor but times just would allow him a chance for fame yet. He is merley carring a message from Art to the people.
Sciorra runs the show one hundred percent and we cant lose sight of that. He is constantly reminding councilors of that (through VAugh). He wows Dan as the idiot shows his colors more each meeting(cant wait for the new teacher evaluation to start)
No matter what the outcome we will never know exactly what happened. Each witness (city workers) is so intimidated their evidence will be so tainted it wont matter. Important items omtted etc...
Silvers is a city employee investigating a city employee and employees. He will get only the evidence Art gives him thus wewill hear the results that Art wants us to hear.
After this debacle is done and over I believe a new ammendment in the city charter needs review. How much power does the manager need. The manager shouldnt have any more power than the County maager. That leaves the power wih the legslative body which we elect.

Justin Woods is not a victim of anything but his own aggressiveness and egotisim. He bent the rules and grants to suit his own agenda and it quite innocently was discovered. He then had the gall to spit in the managers face and council face by calling the manager a liar..AT THAT POINT HE HAD TO GO.. The manager now went into self defense mode with the aide of his little follower and worshiper Nicky Vaugh.. The mayor was as shocked as everyone else and he decided to try and protect the manager for as you all know the mayor dosnt believe in micromanaging.. MISTAKE
Vaugh has obviously been in contact with Art and is doing hi best to cover Arts tracks which allows Nelson to act a little more like a mayor instead of a pciture perfect poster boy..
It has become very obvious that Nelsons interests are no longer with the electorate of Ogdensburg but somewhere else in politics so its possible the manager might get thrown under the bus..
Powers, Cilley and I,m sorry to say Shollette have been disappointing in their missing meetings, important meetingss during this affair..
I agree with an independant nvestigatrion with possibly people like Mr.Tooley and Mr Larose who was a ouncilman and an independant third party.. They would sit down and review the facts and come to a conclusion and report it to council.
The way it stands now Sciorra will only give council what he wants them to know and Andy Silver will hide behind his attorney client privileges and not answer the real questions. ITS ALREADY HAPPENING..

When you have inexperienced kids working for you in a political atmosphere you are living dangerously. Nick Vaugh a self rightous little boy who lived a very protected life and had the best always made available to him has been amajor disappointment.
Nick has lied to us for over three years. He has made our city meetings into a Republican agenda campaign headquarters. Never having held a real job nor had the insentive to have a real girlfriend and think about family and owning property and having to make ends meet his inexperience in lifes everyday working mans woes is zero. His voting record reflects that.
He missed so many meetings unexcused in his second year that another coucilor wanted him kicked offf... Nelson and Sciorra covered for him..
He consistantly has voted for raising taxes and is yet to side with any idividual who uestions city hall policy. Last year he tagged along with Sciorra on any trips the manager made.. He tried to have the counsilors salary raised and stated at the meeting that he knew he was worth the raise.. Modest heh....
He decided to run for the assemby and went on a Twitter campaign against Addie Russell.. He and Nelson used our council meetings for sending out their messages
. He then quit the race when Nancy Martin spanked him and put him in his place.
Matt Doheny hired him last year amd gave him a title.. The titlemade him have his head swell when in fact he basiclly wasa go for for the Doheny team.. We thing wernt going well Doheny got rid of him and Nicky turned on Doheny..
I feel what we have here in Nick isa young inexperineced wannabe a carreer politican.. Hes will ing to do anythng or support anyone who will enhance his future..

It appears the city government body has much to hide. I believed the Mayor,city council and any of the city government people work for the taxpaying people, to benifit the city and the people. It seems there are many shady dealings going on and those involved are scrambling to pass the buck.
The city has repeatedly gone outside the city to fill positions such as the city managers, when dedicated seasoned city employees have been passed by. Why?? Wouldn't a person who has lived in the city, raised a family and participated in the community be a better fit?
The city attorney's number one priorty should to protect the city's interest. I view this agreement between Scorria and Woods as a protection of each of them, not the city. The citizens of Ogdensburg have a right to know.
