Citizens need to read this story from todays Potsdam /Massena Courier Observer by B Amaral
This story is a prime example of why people have little regard for NYSCOPBA and the prison guards it represents .
Why wasn't THIS story published in OGDENSBURG ? Is someone too afraid to expose the details in Prison town ?
IF this story is factual and represents the truth it reeks of the kind of UNION corruption that should be rooted out and punished to the full extent .
This shameful behavior is an outrage and merits a full investigation by authorities.
The guards if they are ethical should lead the charge to clean up NYSCOBPA's ACT, root out and punish any wrongdoing , OTHERWISE FACE CONTINUED LACK OF RESPECT by thinking people.
Dont blame the average CO.. They supported Aubetine it was their leaders that did the dirtywork... Locally Michael Powers new a bout this effort and I beleieve assisted Barkly transfering the unused portion of this money to Ritchies camaaign.. Remember when Ritchie went to ALbany and alledgedly transfered a local petition for the prison from the Tas force.. The local Republicans were aware of this corruption back then... Ritchie actuall insinuated Chuck Kelly had not done hs ob with the petition... Fact was she had no real petition....
The local Republican party has manipulated many local elections in this manneer and we are just finding out now...
I certainly apologize for saying the Ogdensburg media failed to mention it . I only checked the ONLINE version while the HARD copy covered it---- my bad entirely!
Otherwise my comments are unchanged -- Shameful display of union goonery at its worst! get your act together if you expect public support,
The avg CO needs to raise the dickens and get the BROOM out and sweep the pigstye clean otherwise you'll be culpable by association
First commentator wants to know who will staff her local office.. My bet would be that it will be used more by her personally and Regan when they come to town which will be seldom... It will get used alot at forst to give Mary Rupp a little press and she may work for Ritchie for a bit.... Aint politics fun? Betcha
This will be Regans office and Ritchie will be lucky to visit once a month! She has 3 other offices and her main one ! Its politics only ! Ritchie is ok but Nelson can make anyone look bad!
