Journal:Chamber declares Ogtoberfest a success

It was windy day and the Seaway Jumpers had their bouncy houses set up. The kids were going crazy, not effected by the cold and wind. Just across the way venders were displaying wine, beer, and crafts while the band played. It was a good time, I would go again. Good job to those that organized the event.

Ogtoberfest was just about as successful as the Bush tax cuts - meaning it was poorly planned, poorly attended and a waste of government resources.

200 million people benefitted from the Bush tax cuts whether you believe it or not. Talk about something you know. Don't just repeat the Democratic line. When the tax cuts expire in January, tell me how your paycheck looks.

The tax cuts were sold as an economic stimulus - instead, they led to the second greatest economic collapse in American history.

You are completely wrong. The whole world economy collapsed. Were Bush Era tax cuts responsible for Greece, Spain, and other European economies? You just spout propaganda of the Dems. How effective has the great leader of the last 4 years been? And his big plan is for all of us to pay more.

We all need to pay more. When families are in debt, they tighten their belt to pay down the debt. I don't think it is asking too much of Americans to do their part to pay down the debt that 10 years of meaningless war and reckless tax cuts have caused.
