Journal:St. Lawrence County grand jury indicts three on drug charges
First step was the arrest.. Step tow was the Grand Jury... Grand Jury is a formality only.. The DA could get a sandwich indicted.. Whenever the Grand Jury fails to indict is when the DA dosnt want the person indicted or is incompetent. One case I remember is from an incident in the Canton Diner when two off duty troopers beat a man so badly they had to hospitalize the man for several days. Witnesses were ignored by the DA who was (manning_and he presented his case for assualt to the grand jury.. Of course the case was no bill.. History is the troopers disappareed from their local assignments and finished their careers elsewhere.. A civil jury found them irresponsible etc and awarded a large cash settlement to the injured man... Recently in Ogdensburg a rape was reported.. The local police spent several hours of our tax dollars on an investigation. A local business and its employee got a bad dose of print over it.. It was later found out it was consenual sex but to this day no charges have been filed against the individual who filed a false police report.. Why?? Why does politics enter into these things?? Its not who you know but obviously its who you_==ow... In this case here I,ll bet the following two out of the three are offered a plea and the third goes to drug court.. In any case all three will work for the STate Police at some point or another counties law enforcement in an informant role... THEY ALL DO
