Journal:Vietnam Memorial Moving Wall Arrives

Vietnam Memorial
It has been a lot of work but the Vietnam Memorial Moving Wall makes it to downtown Ogdensburg.  I visited it tonight and it is very impressive.  They were giving free flags to all guests and had a great presentation on the bandstand.

Remember no drinking, eating, smoking while along the wall.  They had golf carts to bring individuals to the Wall that could not walk. Individuals were handing out pamphlets that located the names of local veterans that gave their life for our Country.   There is a donation box at each end of the wall and I would encourage all to make a donation.

This is certainly a fitting tribute to our Vietnam era vets and their loved ones .With God's grace may we have peace in our times and honor those who fought that we may enjoy our freedom.

Thank you to ALL our service personnel.

We as a nation owe a lot to these boys. We scorned these guys for years. We violated their memory with trash about the war. Its about time they were given respect by all... Hats off to all the servicemen and women who served in Veitnam era...

Hail to all Vets! "If you can read this thank a teachers, you can read this in English thank a Vet". I always liked that saying.
