| Ogdensburg Fees Fees Feees when does it stop |
Ogdensburg has become fee city. Our current city legislators voted 4 to 3 on raising fees on business inspection in Ogdensburg. I am still asking who are the Republicans on that board and who are the democrats. Nelson, Vaughn, Powers, and Cilley all Republicans voted to increase fees on local businesses. The Democrats with the stand on his own Republican Mr. Morley unsuccessfully tried to vote down these fees. Who is friendly to business?
Good thing Mayor Nelson has his 4 legislators that vote my way every time. Time to think about the community and stop spending.
The City Legislature is/or has established an ethics policy which also left everyone wondering who the real republicans are.

The Dearth of LEADERSHIP and the failed performance of those who are currently in the seats is a monument to voter apathy and results in the "lowest common denominator" form of government -- it is dreadful but we GOT what we deserved because too damn many people here will ACCEPT mediocrity.
The city survey is a JOKE they only send it out to a limited survey audience of "yea sayers" who are so blind as NOT to see what is really happening in the Burg .
The demise of this city is a result of half hearted efforts, self fulfilling agendas, and a City Manager that is over paid.
When will the voters wake up and vote these legislators out of office that are incapable to vote without asking Bill. Cilley fits right in with the Bill crowd, how disappointing!
We deserve what we get. We deserve every fee, tax increase, water and sewer rate increase because it is not about cutting back. We have cut services, increased fees, and kept the same number of employees. Something does not add up.
It getting to the point where we could put a fence around OGD just to keep the sexual predators in.
Absolutely on target . The city is a wasteland now dominated by incompetent leaders who have allowed Sexual predators , drug - addled lowlifes to to reign supreme. It is unsafe to walk the streets after dark , criminal elements have taken over and all the while our taxes and fees continue to rise and the Mayor and Council are GRINNING like the court jester
We have everything a low life needs. Low rent, walmart, corner stores, taxi, and a place to live for Sexual preditors (SRO). SROs are the best thing to happen to Ogdensburg. It is not safe on the streets and we do nothing about it. The cops are so deep in no one knows what is going on.
Time to get out of the city taxes and fees continue to go up. Anyone that owns a home has to worry about the drug dealers renting down the street. The cigs sold illegally from houses. The under age drinking and now we have the Oxley trial again.

Know Bill and the rest of the cronies are limiting our 2 admend. rights. Maybe they should switch their parties.
