GOP Rally Leads to Aubertine Rally

Friday night was big for the GOP at the Ogdensburg Republican Headquarters.  Nancy Martin, St. Lawrence County Republican Chair assembled many supports to meet and rally the candidates.  What appeared to be a Republican Rally turned into a mission by Darrel Aubertine campaign workers to disrupt the rally.  Senator Aubertine hired individuals who appeared to be from New Jersey based on license plates to set up camp next door.  They stood directly across the street and held up signs and chanted.  Linden Street and Rt. 37 was lined with Darrel Aubertine signs.
At one point a Robert Flavin election sign was moved across the street by one of Senator Aubertine campaign people.  When the Aubertine campaign worker was confronted by Mr. Flavin he replaced the sign.  Is this what Senator's do?  Intimidation and harassment, these are accepted Senatorial Acts by our current Democratic Majority.  Espada, Parker, Mosserate, Paterson, Spitzer....where does this list end, with Aubertine?

Great Rally, I think the only way DA could win is if he could pay them to vote for him. lol

They have no respect for private property placing Aubertine signs in lawns without permission. Many of my friends in town have complained about the same thing.

I removed his sign from my corner also. Private property do your campaigners have any idea what that is.

Stick to the edge of roads, and please remove the one in Hammond by the cemetery.

Is this true, that Darrel Aubetine sent people to disrupt a Rally by his opponent.

This is totally disrespectful and I did not expected this from him. He has to be responsible for their actions.

Anon 10:06 this is what we come to expect form Senator Aubertine. This has never been his motive and I do not beleive he knew anything about this or he would of shut it down.
If he did, he is not the same Darrel that has represented us.

These guys drove up from albany to disrupt the GOP rally. They chanted and held up signs but they did not spell Darrell name right.

All they cared is if they got paid.

The signs are back up. I guess the Shollettes have endorsed Mr. Aubertine and they also endorse his a__holes that were sent to disrupt the rally..

There is always Jerrys.

I wish I was up in the North Country still to have some fun with that. The Democrats are getting anxious and worried. They know they are losing ground. Dave Forsythe is climbing, as is Patty. Right now, it appears we will have REpublican representation across the board at the state level (pending how Ken B does in the 122nd). But make sure we keep the push going. It won't matter unless we have the Republicans in office come November 3rd.

Donkey or Elephant it doesn't matter -- NOTHING will change for the benefit of the taxpayer - Watch n' Learn - NYS has been and will continue to be dysfunctional until we get a Constitutional Convention mandating term limits and a Unicameral Legislature with TRUE Part Time legislators . Until then the dysfunction will CONTINUE regardless of which Party has the majority -- still gonna be THREE TURDS IN A ROOM who decide the budget then tell it and sell it to their minions

I do not believe in term limits, that is why I have the ability to vote and I exercise that ability.

We should all exercise that ability and vote out the current bums. Get rid of those corrupted by the system and let the newly elected become tainted, it is a vicious circle.

Time for s systemic overhaul - Demand A Constitutional Convention - otherwise THERE WILL NEVER BE CHANGE

We do need a convention, but the wrong things will get changed. The retirement system will be gutted. They will attact the things that does not effect their grab for power.

Darrel Aubertine should be held accountable for his campaigners.

I was told by someone that a black Ford with a silver haired man drove into the Shoulette's parking lot where the people were holding up Aubertine's signs and talked to someone and then drove away. Was that the Senator? Must be he was paying them the $10.00 an hour he owed them.
